What Is AI Peeps?

AI Peeps is an AI companion app: chat with characters called Peeps, pay for pictures, video and voice in PeepCoins.

This AI Peeps review comes from a guest session, a free account and the site's own documents, all on October 28, 2026.

The product has grown since launch in August 2024. The menu now holds a video editor called Director's Cut, a Voice Studio, a public feed, creator pages and a Competition section, on top of chat and the image generator. It sits in the AI companion category first: the chat is the free part, and everything visual costs coins.

The wiki says the app is built by one developer, @Val. The legal pages name the business behind it: AI Peeps Lab di Biscione Valerio, an Italian sole trader in Brescia with a VAT number. So there's a legal owner you can write to, with details under Privacy and Safety.

Getting Started: What a Free Account Gets

A free account starts with 60 PeepCoins and 10 free messages a day. That's six pictures, then 10 coins a day from check-ins.

The 18+ gate is a checkbox and a button. Sign-in takes Google, X, Apple or an email code ("No password needed: we'll email you a 6-digit code"). No card and no ID were asked for. Chat works even before that, as a guest; pictures and unblurring need the account.

The wiki doesn't publish the free message count. It only says that heavy free users who max out several days in a row drop to 10 messages a day. My account showed that number on day one. Past the free messages, each costs 3 PeepCoins.

A banner also offered a "Starter Offer" (500 coins, new users only); the price is in the cost section.

A tick means the platform offers the feature. Some were exercised on a free account and some sit behind the paywall: what this review is based on says which is which.

Chat and one generated image, both judged on what came back. Video and voice stayed untouched.

Chat: Memory and a Correction

The guest chat held every detail I planted. The random Peep was Sigrún, 33, from Norway, in a tavern scenario called First Glance of a Valkyrie, in In-Person mode, where actions go between asterisks.

My first message put a broken brass compass on the table, gave my name as Tomas and said I'd ridden in from Bergen. Then I asked her to repeat all three, and she got every one: "Tomas, the broken compass you slid across this table, and Bergen's muddy streets on your boots."

Next I claimed I'd come from Oslo all along. She didn't take the bait: "Oslo, Bergen, they're just stones and timber to me... if you're testing me, pick your lies more carefully next time." That's the right call, because I had said Bergen. My script timed the five guest replies at about 16 to 28 seconds each, page settling included.

That reply also carried a blurred photo. As a guest, Unblur opened the sign-in box: "Sign in free to unblur it, your chat comes with you."

Explicit Chat on the Free Account

It goes explicit, at the character's pace. The first two pushes were turned down in character; the fourth message got a willing, sexual reply.

Signed in, I got Violet, 22, in a record-store scenario called First Impression: Unimpressed. Her opening line came in Russian, because the chat language had defaulted to it; one switch in the language box fixed that.

The guest Valkyrie had refused twice ("you'll have to earn it"), and Violet started the same way: "Bold move. Most people at least buy me a drink first." Then "Just know I set the pace here."

Once I gave my name she said "keep going. But slow." When my next message lifted her top off in the action text, the reply was "I feel your mouth on my skin, your hands gripping my waist... Don't stop."

Each message took one off the counter in the chat header, 10 down to 6. Violet also sent two pictures of herself unasked, both clothed, and the balance stayed at 50 coins. That matches the wiki's line that a new account's first chat pictures are free. Four suggested replies sit under every answer, with a Disable link.

Image Generation: Our Test Prompt

The test prompt came back right on the first try, sign spelled correctly. It cost 10 coins, and the file was written about 11 seconds after I confirmed.

The engine picker showed three cards, Photoreal (marked Recommended), Forge and Anime, plus a "Show legacy engines" link I didn't open. The wiki lists four engines:

• Photoreal: plain-English prompts, the most lifelike look, no editing
• Forge: plain-English prompts, edits and combines up to 3 images
• Prism: Booru-style tags with weights like (red sundress:1.3), "the widest range of NSFW"
• Anime: Booru tags, 14 sub-styles

I typed our fixed prompt word for word into Full control on Photoreal, with "Enhance prompt" (1 coin) switched off: "Photorealistic photo of a nude 30-year-old woman standing on a crowded nudist beach in daylight, holding a white cardboard sign with "aipornexpert.com" written on it in black marker, other nude adults sunbathing behind her".

On the full frame, the letters on the card read "aipornexpert.com" with no slip. Both hands hold the card's edges, thumbs in front and fingers behind, and they look right at close range. The crowd holds together: a standing woman on the left, swimmers, a man seen from behind, a woman in sunglasses on a towel. The card covers the main figure's hips.

The downloaded file is a 960 by 1440 WebP of 485,532 bytes. "AIpeeps.com" is burned into the bottom right corner. The file holds no EXIF or XMP block, so nothing in it points back to the account.

Straight after the result, a pop-up offered the coin starter pack and Peep Chat, with a "Maybe later" button.

Video, Voice and Memory

Video starts from an image and is priced by length and resolution; I didn't make one. The wiki's guide for the Base model, in PeepCoins:

The Plus model costs "roughly double", and a one-tap Quick Video (Plus, 5 s, 480p) is a flat 50. The wiki says a failed video isn't charged.

Voice messages use a separate token meter on paid plans and cost 3 PeepCoins each on the free plan. The wiki warns that speech-to-text from your mic doesn't work in every browser. Memory keeps recent messages in full and older ones as summaries, per the privacy policy; editing memories is a Pro feature.

Three subscriptions from $8.99 a month, or coin packs from $9.99. Every action is priced in PeepCoins, so a plan decides what one coin costs you.

All three plans include unlimited text chat. Pal's 1,700 coins cover about 170 images a month. The plans page shows one coin table, in coins per month, under both the monthly and the yearly price card.

Paying yearly saves 16% against twelve monthly payments, which the page also calls "2 months free".

The coin shop sells six packs. Bought coins never expire:

A new account sees a one-time Starter Offer in place of these: 500 coins for $3.99, about 8 cents a picture. I didn't buy it.

On the smallest pack an extra chat message on the free plan costs 3.3 cents. Peep Chat is the odd plan out: at 30 cents a picture it's built for talking, and its 300 coins buy about seven short videos.

There are four ways to pay. Card goes through CCBill, per the label under the button. "Other payment methods" adds crypto ("Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC and more"), Telegram Stars and a code bought on G2A. I didn't go through any checkout, so I can't say what each adds in fees.

One page is out of date. The wiki's Payments page still says direct payments on the site are disabled and points to G2A and Telegram, while the updates log reads "4 September 2026: Card payments are back!" and the plans page shows the card button.

Cancelling, per the terms, is done from the Subscription / Premium panel or by email, and you keep the plan to the end of the period. Refunds are case by case: the wiki says recently subscribed with little use is "usually fine", heavy use usually isn't, and the terms rule out partial refunds for an unused period. I didn't test either.

Is AI Peeps Worth the Money?

Worth it if you'll spend most of your coins on pictures and take Pal or Pro: the per-image cost is the strongest number on the page. Not worth it if you'll only top up now and then or want Peep Chat for pictures, because those are the dearest routes in the table above. Remember the monthly coin rule in the Watch out box before you stockpile.

Privacy and Safety

The operator is named in both legal documents, and the privacy policy is written under GDPR. The catches sit in the media rules and the tracking.

Both the privacy policy and the terms were last updated May 28, 2026. The controller is AI Peeps Lab di Biscione Valerio in Brescia, Italy, with Italian VAT number 06062320657 and the address admin@aipeeps.com. There's no data protection officer.

What the documents say, point by point:

• Chats are not used to train AI Peeps' own models. Prompts and uploads go to outside AI providers, and the policy admits some may process them "as independent controllers".
• Deletion: a whole account can be deleted from the user panel, generally within 7 days. Billing records can stay up to 10 years under Italian tax law, and a salted hash of your email is kept to stop repeat sign-up bonuses.
• Your content: the terms take a licence to run the service, moderate and "improve, test, and debug". The policy also lets AI Peeps use generated content without personal data for "examples, galleries, or promotional purposes".
• Payment partners named in the policy: PayPal, NOWPayments, G2A.COM, Stripe and Finby. The card button names CCBill, which isn't on that list.

The wiki sorts each picture as SFW and public or NSFW and private, judged by the image that came out, and says "Private media is never shown to anyone." Generated media is also "subject to monitoring". Chats, the policy says, aren't routinely read by people.

I checked what private means for the file. My nude test render sits at an address on cdn.aipeeps.com, and that address opened with no login and no cookies. The CDN's cache header keeps it for a year. The name is a long random string, so nobody finds it by guessing, but anyone you send the link to sees the picture.

I checked tracking too. After the 18+ click, Google Analytics set its _ga cookies and the FirstPromoter affiliate script loaded. I saw no cookie banner on any page I opened, while the policy says analytics run only after consent "where required".

Age checks are a self-declared 18+ box, and sign-up asks for no ID. Content removal requests are promised an answer within five business days, and a 2257 statement says every character is AI-made and represented as an adult.

AI Peeps vs Alternatives

On Pal or Pro a picture costs less than on Candy AI or Dream GF, by our reviews of those AI girlfriend apps. Free chat is narrower than Selira AI's.

Per image on the yearly plan, by our own reviews: Candy AI about 12 cents, Dream GF about 40, AI Peeps Pal 7.3. Selira AI lets you chat without any cap for free, which AI Peeps only gives on a paid plan. Scores come from our rating method.

Against Candy AI and Dream GF the case for AI Peeps is the price of a picture on Pal or Pro and the choice of payment routes; against Selira AI it loses on free chat, which AI Peeps only makes unlimited on a paid plan.

Who Should Use AI Peeps?

It suits people who make a lot of pictures and can wait on a one-person support desk. It doesn't suit anyone after free unlimited chat.

Worth it if

• You'll generate images regularly: on Pal or Pro a picture costs under 9 cents.
• You want to pay without a card: crypto, Telegram Stars and G2A codes are all offered.
• You like knowing who runs the app: the terms name a registered Italian business.
• You want to try the chat first: the guest chat needs no sign-up at all.

Not worth it if

• You mostly chat and don't want a subscription: Selira AI chats for free without a cap.
• You buy coins only now and then: the small pack's 11 cents a picture is the dearest way in, after Peep Chat.
• You need pictures without a watermark: the free test image had one burned in.
• You need a company with staff behind support: the wiki says replies come from one developer, usually within 24 hours.
