AI Angels Review, Is It Worth It in 2026?

AI girlfriend platform with 542 companions, unlimited chat on paid plans and everything else on credits

7.5 /10 Good How we rate

The conversation is the product here and it is genuinely good: replies in ten to thirty seconds, and memory that recalled a detail from the previous night and another buried nine messages deep. Entry is the most generous in the category, ten messages a day with no account at all. What holds it back is everything around the chat. Video is priced at 200 credits and still labelled Coming soon in chat, photo requests only follow the preset menu and bill you 50 credits for ignoring your own words, the character studio serves files from a pre-generated library, and private photos sit on public URLs. Worth the free tier for anyone, worth $7.99 a month if talking is the point, not worth it if you are buying for media.

Score Breakdown

Three expert ratings based on hands-on testing. How we rate →

🎨 Quality 7/10 (50%)
  • Chat is the strongest part: replies in 10 to 30 seconds, split into short natural bubbles
  • Memory verified twice: a detail from the previous evening after 11 hours, and a fact buried under nine messages
  • Chat photos are genuinely generated per request at 1152x2048, faces consistent between images
  • Free-text photo requests are ignored, the preset menu is the only thing that steers output
  • Video is greyed out as Coming soon in chat; the studio clip was 4 seconds at 834x1112 and came from a pre-generated bucket
💰 Value 8/10 (30%)
  • $7.99/mo on annual billing with 14,400 credits, and the annual plan does not auto renew
  • Unlimited one on one messages on any paid plan, group messages cost 2 credits each
  • Every credit cost is published before signup: 50 photo, 25 voice note, 200 video, 50 per call minute
  • 15 free credits a day, about 450 a month, roughly nine photos
  • The $39.99 plan buys credits, not features, which the site states openly
🛡️ Trust 6/10 (20%)
  • Domain registered July 2025, almost no independent user reports anywhere
  • Chat photos and voice notes are stored at public URLs that open without a login
  • No transaction history in the account, an 85 credit drop could not be traced to anything
  • 2257 exemption statement dated 19 August 2026, GDPR shaped privacy policy, no KYC
  • Verotel billing, discreet as vtsup.com, crypto accepted, self serve cancellation

👍 Pros & Cons

✅ What We Like

  • Ten messages a day with no account and no card, which almost nothing else in this category allows
  • Memory verified in testing: a fact from the previous evening and one buried nine messages deep both came back exactly
  • 542 companions on the front page, more than the site's own marketing claims
  • Every credit cost is printed before signup, and the chat shows what your balance still buys
  • Photo credits are taken when you open the image, not when you ask, so a request you think better of costs nothing
  • Voice notes are built on the conversation you just had and each carries a transcript
  • Annual plan does not auto renew, and crypto sits at checkout next to the cards
  • Annual billing hands over the whole year of credits on day one rather than metering them out monthly

⚠️ What Could Be Better

  • Video is priced at 200 credits but greyed out as Coming soon in chat; it runs only in the separate studio
  • Free-text photo requests are ignored, you get a stock lingerie shot and still pay the full 50 credits
  • The character studio serves images and clips from a pre-generated library filed by age and origin
  • A character you build disappears after 24 hours unless you pay 100 credits for a permanent slot
  • Chat photos and voice notes sit on public URLs that open for anyone holding the link
  • No transaction history anywhere in the account, so credit drops cannot be traced
  • Domain registered July 2025 with almost no independent track record behind it

What Is AI Angels?

AI Angels is an AI girlfriend platform that sells one thing: a conversation with someone who remembers you. It launched on a domain registered in July 2025, which makes it one of the younger names in the AI porn chat category, and it arrived with a catalog most new entrants cannot match. The site title still says "400+ AI Angel Girlfriends". I counted the unique profile links on the front page on 31 August 2026 and got 542, so the marketing is undercounting its own roster by more than a hundred.

The pitch is simple and, unusually for this category, it is printed before you sign up. Chat is unlimited on a paid plan. Everything else runs on credits: photos, voice notes, calls, group chats and characters you build yourself. I spent three days inside a Premium account the operator comped for review purposes, and this piece is what that account showed me rather than what the tour promises.

Getting Started with AI Angels

You can talk to a companion here without an account at all. No email, no card, nothing. A guest gets ten messages a day, a free account gets thirty, and companions carrying a FREE badge are not counted against either ceiling. That last part matters more than it sounds, because most platforms in this space hand you three or four messages and then a paywall. Compare it to what the free AI porn sites in this category usually mean by "free".

Signup, when you do it, is an email and a magic link. No password to lose, no documents to upload, no identity verification anywhere in the flow. There is also a daily 15 credit claim that runs on a seven day streak, which the site pushes at you in a modal on first visit. Thirty claims a month works out to 450 credits, roughly nine photos, and the site says so openly on the pricing page instead of leaving you to do the arithmetic.

The interface puts a credit counter in the header and repeats it above the message box in chat, phrased as what your balance can still buy: "1,115 credits. Up to 22 photos or 22 minutes of calls." I found that genuinely useful. Token economies in this category are usually opaque on purpose.

Chat and Memory

This is where AI Angels is strongest, and it is not close. Replies land in ten to thirty seconds, arrive in two or three short bubbles instead of one wall of text, and they answer the thing you actually asked.

I tested the memory properly rather than taking the feature list on faith. On the first evening Sierra told me three things about herself: she grew up near the ocean, her father cooked huge Sunday breakfasts, she hunts for the perfect vintage leather jacket. I came back eleven hours later and asked for the third one without naming it. "the vintage leather jacket thing. always hunting for the one that fits without trying."

Then I made it harder. I gave her a throwaway fact, a brother called Arthur in Porto with a dog called Kex, buried it under nine messages of small talk about weather, coffee, music and a sore back, and asked again. "arthur in porto. dog kex." No hedging, no invented detail, no drift into a different name.

AI Angels chat with Sierra showing the memory test answer, the Requests button and the credit balance

The site does not publish its context window or how many companions you can run in parallel, so I cannot tell you where the ceiling is. What I can tell you is that the memory survived a night and nine intervening turns, which is more than I get from several platforms rated above this one.

Photos on Request

Photos cost 50 credits and there are two mechanics worth knowing before you spend.

First, the credit comes off when you open the image, not when you ask for it. It arrives blurred behind a hold to open button, so the charge lands on a deliberate press rather than a stray click. I like that. It is the rare credit design that does not punish you for changing your mind.

Second, and this is the real limitation: the preset menu works and free text does not. Picking "look down my top" from the request list produced exactly that shot, correctly framed, consistent with her profile face. Then I typed a request in my own words, a coffee mug on the windowsill with nobody in the frame, and got back a stock lingerie portrait in a kitchen. She even narrated the substitution, "had one already in my roll from a quiet morning, picked it just now", and it still cost the full 50 credits.

So the photo feature is a menu, not a prompt box. If you want a generator that takes your words, look at the AI porn generators instead. If you want a companion who sends pictures from a fixed set of poses, this does that well.

Voice Notes

Voice notes are 25 credits and they behave better than the photos. Mine arrived in about 25 seconds, ran eight seconds, and came back in the companion's own voice rather than a flat text-to-speech read. The script was built on what had just happened in the conversation, referring back to the photo I had opened a minute earlier, instead of reading a canned line. Every note carries a transcript button, which is a small accessibility touch almost nobody else bothers with.

Video

Here the pricing page and the product disagree, and you should know which one to believe. In chat, the video request is priced at 200 credits and then greyed out with a "Coming soon" label. Those credits buy nothing there today.

Video does work, but only in the separate character studio, and the clip I got was four seconds at 834x1112. The site publishes neither the length nor the resolution anywhere. If video is why you are here, this is not yet the platform for it, and the AI porn video generators category is a better place to start.

Voice Calls

Calls are metered at 50 credits a minute, which makes them the most expensive thing on the menu after video. I could not complete one: my test browser ran without a microphone and the call sat on "Calling..." until I ended it. No credits were taken for the attempt. I am recording this as untested rather than broken, because the failure is on my side of the wire.

Group Chat

Two companions in one thread, and it genuinely works. Reagan and Lennon answered separately, contradicted each other, and picked up each other's lines rather than taking turns reciting the same flirt. Threads persist and reappear in the chat list.

The part the pricing page leaves out: group messages cost 2 credits each, while one on one messages on a paid plan cost nothing. It is a small charge that compounds if group chat is how you actually want to use the platform.

The Character Studio

This is the weakest part of the product and the one I would look at hardest before paying.

The builder runs seven steps: origin, age, hair, eyes, body, outfit and scene, then action. Every step is a grid of presets with no free text anywhere. Personality is not among the steps. That matters because the pricing page lists "Customize her looks, personality and attitude" as an included feature, and what the builder actually shapes is a look.

AI Angels character studio showing slot, character, image and video credit costs and the free daily allowance

Then there is the timer. A character you create disappears after 24 hours unless you buy a permanent slot for 100 credits, priced next to 10 credits for the character, 50 for an image and 200 for a video. The studio hands you one free character, one image and one video a day.

And the files it gives back are not made for you. The image and clip my session produced were served straight out of a storage bucket named pregen-media, filed by age and origin, on paths like /22/european/c2/video-2.mp4. That is a picker dressed up as a generator. The chat photos are genuinely generated per request; the studio output, on this evidence, is not.

Output Quality

Chat photos come back at 1152x2048, around 250 to 370 KB, delivered as .png files that are actually JPEG inside. Faces stay consistent between images of the same companion, the lighting is plausible, and the two I opened had none of the hand and jewellery mangling that still plagues cheaper generators. Generation took about a minute each, slower than the fastest tools in this category but not painfully so.

Video, in the studio, is four seconds at 834x1112. Short, small, and given the pregen paths, probably not made for you at all.

None of these numbers appear anywhere on the site. You find them by paying and looking, which is exactly the sort of thing this review exists to save you.

Interface and User Experience

The web app is clean and fast, and it is a web app: there is no native application in either store despite a page written as though there were. It installs to a home screen like any responsive site.

Two friction points. The onboarding modal about daily credits blocks the page until you claim, and a push notification prompt appears right after your first generation, offering at most one message a day from your companion. Both are recoverable in one click, but they arrive at the moment you are trying to do something else.

One real gap: there is no transaction history anywhere in the account. My balance dropped 85 credits overnight with nothing sent in chat, and the studio afterwards showed a second character slot marked as owned. A 100 credit slot minus the 15 credit daily claim is exactly 85, so the arithmetic works out, but I could not confirm it anywhere in the interface. You cannot audit your own spending on this platform.

Cost per Generation

Based on Private Yearly ($7.99/mo) (? credits/mo included):

Image $0.33
Video $1.33
Chat Unlimited (free on any paid plan)

That's roughly 24 images or 6 videos per month on your subscription alone.

Two plans, and they carry identical features. The difference is the size of the credit bucket.

Private is $14.99 a month, or $95.88 once a year, which works out to $7.99 a month. The credits do not change with the billing period: it is 1,200 a month either way, and the 14,400 on the annual toggle is the full year handed over on day one. The pricing page prints those two numbers side by side without saying so, and the annual plan ends up looking twelve times more generous than it is. All Yours is $39.99 a month, or $239.88 a year at $19.99 a month, with three times the credits. Nothing in the feature list changes between them, and the site says so plainly rather than inventing tiers.

AI Angels yearly pricing showing Private at 7.99 a month and All Yours at 19.99 a month with credit allowances

What 1,200 credits a month buys, in the site's own numbers: 24 photos, or 48 voice notes, or 24 call minutes, or 12 new characters, or 6 videos. Over a year that is the 288 photos or 72 videos the annual page advertises, which is the same thing counted differently. In dollars on the annual plan that is roughly 33 cents a photo, 17 cents a voice note and 33 cents a call minute.

Two details in the fine print that count in the platform's favour. The annual plan does not auto renew, stated as "one payment today, nothing renews by itself". And crypto sits at checkout next to Visa and Mastercard, which matters if a card statement is a problem for you.

Card billing runs through Verotel and shows up as vtsup.com. Cancellation is self serve.

Is AI Angels Worth the Money?

At $7.99 a month on a year that does not auto renew, the chat alone is fair value. The credit economy is honest but thin: 1,200 credits is 24 photos, and if you lean on media you will be topping up.

Privacy and Safety

👥 not published users
🕐 Domain age: 1+ years
🔒 Discreet billing
🇪🇺 GDPR compliant
🚫 No ID verification

No identity verification, no documents, no KYC. The privacy policy is GDPR shaped, names Verotel and CardBilling as processors, and says card details are never stored on their side. It also states that interaction logs are collected, which for a chat product means your conversations sit on their infrastructure. That is true of every platform in this category and worth saying out loud.

The 2257 statement is the legal spine of the product: every image is computer generated, no real person appears anywhere, so the record keeping requirements do not apply. It is dated 19 August 2026 and names the operator and address.

Now the thing that is not in the policy, and the reason trust does not score higher here. The private media is not private. The photo my companion "sent only to me" sits at a public storage URL that answers to anyone holding the link, no login required, and the voice note is public too, cached for a year. The paths carry random ids and the storage sends a no-index header, so this is not a search engine leak and nobody is going to stumble across your chat. But anyone you pass a link to sees the file, and the file stays reachable long after you close the conversation. On a platform whose entire product is intimacy, that is a design choice worth knowing about.

AI Angels vs Alternatives

Against the rest of the field, AI Angels wins on the way in and loses on the extras. The free tier is the most generous entry point in the category, the memory is better than the price suggests, and the credit costs are printed instead of hidden. Against that: video is switched off in chat, photo requests only follow a menu, and the studio is not really generating anything.

If you want video today, Fantasy GF ships it and this does not. If you want the largest proven platform with the deepest feature set, Candy AI is still the benchmark. AI Angels earns its place by being the one you can try properly without paying anything first.

Candy AI and Fantasy GF both ship working video and deeper customization, and both are cheaper per month on annual billing. AI Angels beats them on the way in: no account needed to start, every ceiling printed, and memory that holds up better than the price suggests.

What Users Say Online

Very little, and that is a finding in itself. A domain registered in July 2025 has not had time to accumulate an independent track record, and searches turn up affiliate placements rather than user reports. There is no Reddit thread of substance, no long running complaint pattern, and no history of chargeback stories either. Absence of bad news is not the same as good news. Treat the platform as unproven rather than trusted, and use the free tier before you commit to a year.

Who Should Use AI Angels?

Use it if conversation is the point. The memory, the response speed and the voice notes are the parts that work, and the entry cost is as close to zero risk as this category offers: talk to a companion with no account, then thirty messages a day on a free one, then $7.99 a month on a year that does not auto renew.

Skip it if you are buying for the media. Video is not live in chat, photos only answer the preset menu, and the studio serves prepared files. If those are your reasons for paying, your money buys more elsewhere.

FAQ

Is AI Angels free?

Yes, and you do not need an account to start: ten messages a day as a guest, thirty a day on a free account, and no daily count on companions carrying a FREE badge. There is also a 15 credit daily claim, about 450 a month, which is roughly nine photos. No card is asked for at any point in the free flow.

How much does AI Angels cost?

Private is $14.99 a month or $95.88 a year, which is $7.99 a month. All Yours is $39.99 a month or $239.88 a year at $19.99 a month, with three times the credits. Either way the allowance is 1,200 and 3,600 credits a month; the 14,400 and 43,200 on the annual toggle are yearly totals, credited in one go when you subscribe. The features are identical between the two, only the credit bucket changes. The annual plan does not renew by itself.

Can AI Angels make videos?

Not in the chat. The request menu prices a video at 200 credits and shows it greyed out as "Coming soon", so those credits buy nothing there today. Video runs only in the character studio, where the free daily clip came out four seconds long at 834x1112. The site publishes neither number.

Does AI Angels remember conversations?

Yes, and it held up in testing. A detail given the previous evening came back accurately eleven hours later, and a throwaway fact buried under nine messages of small talk was recalled word for word. The context window is not published, so I cannot tell you where the limit sits.

How many AI girlfriends does AI Angels have?

542 unique companion profiles on the front page when I counted them on 31 August 2026. The site title still advertises "400+", which undersells its own catalog. You can also build your own, though the builder only shapes appearance.

Does AI Angels accept crypto?

Yes. A crypto payment option sits at checkout alongside Visa and Mastercard. Card payments run through Verotel and appear on statements as vtsup.com.

Are the AI Angels images of real people?

No. The site publishes a 2257 exemption statement saying every visual depiction is computer generated and no real human being appears on the platform, which is why federal record keeping rules do not apply to it.

Is there an AI Angels mobile app?

No native app in either store. The site is a responsive web app that installs to a home screen, and there is a page written as though an app existed, but there is nothing to download.

Can other people see the photos my companion sends?

Only if you give them the link, but that is a lower bar than it should be. Chat photos and voice notes are stored at public URLs that open without any login, and they stay reachable after the conversation ends. Nothing is indexed by search engines and the paths carry random ids, so nobody will find yours by accident.
